How to set up SMTP

SMTP is the protocol used to send email. You will use these settings in a mail client (like Outlook) or in an app that sends email from your domain.

Recommended settings

• SMTP server: your mail server (mail.yourdomain.com or the host in your welcome email).
• Port: 587 with STARTTLS (or 465 with SSL).
• Username: your full email address.
• Password: your mailbox password.
• Authentication: required.

Tips

For good deliverability, make sure SPF and DKIM are set for your domain. If mail lands in spam, contact support and we will help review your records.
