How to upload large files

Browser uploads can time out on very large files. For anything above a few hundred megabytes, FTP is the most reliable option.

Your options

• FTP client: connect with FileZilla and drag the file across — FTP resumes better on large transfers.
• Compress first: zip the file or folder, upload the single archive, then extract it in File Manager.
• Split very large archives into parts if your connection is unstable.
