How to update your PHP version

Running a current PHP version keeps your site fast and secure. You can change it yourself in cPanel.

Step-by-step

1. Log in to cPanel and open Select PHP Version (or MultiPHP Manager).
2. Choose the domain, then pick a supported PHP version.
3. Save the change and reload your website to confirm everything works.

Tips

Update your plugins and theme before switching PHP versions. If a page breaks, switch back and contact support.
